Mr.Fabien Pacory, co-organizer and curator of the exhibition, first took the stage to deliver his address. Tracing the currents of East Asian cultural exchange, he shared the vision behind bringing this exhibition to Guangzhou. As the historical gateway of Southern China and the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou has for centuries stood at the crossroads of civilizations, making it a natural platform for dialogue and creative exchange. He served as Dean of Seoul National University College of Fine Arts from 2001 to 2003, and Director of Seoul National University Museum of Art from 2001 to 2004. He was a professor at Seoul National University College of Fine Arts from 1984 to 2018, and is currently Professor Emeritus at Seoul National University. He has held more than 20 solo exhibitions in cities across the globe, including Seoul, Beijing, Paris, Chicago, Brussels, Basel, Tokyo and Berlin. His works are held in the permanent collections of prestigious institutions such as the British Museum (London), Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto), National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Korea), Seoul Museum of Art and the Blue House (Korea). He has received prestigious art awards including the AnGyeon Art and Culture Grand Prize, the Proud Jeonbuk People Prize, the Green Order of Merit for Diligence and the National Order of Korean Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u300c\u751f\u547d\u662f\u6211\u6c38\u6052\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\uff0c\u6211\u4ee5\u753b\u7b14\u8ba9\u751f\u547d\u7efd\u653e\u3002\u300d\u4ece\u677e\u82b1\u7c89\u7684\u98d8\u6563\u5230\u5c71\u5ddd\u8349\u6728\u7684\u751f\u957f\uff0c\u91d1\u79c9\u5b97\u7528\u6d53\u70c8\u9971\u6ee1\u7684\u8272\u5f69\u3001\u8212\u5c55\u6292\u60c5\u7684\u5f62\u6001\uff0c\u63cf\u6479\u7740\u4e07\u7269\u751f\u7075\u7684\u8054\u7ed3\u4e0e\u8109\u52a8\u3002\u8d70\u8fdb\u5c55\u5385\uff0c\u4fbf\u8d70\u5165\u4e86\u4ed6\u7528\u8272\u5f69\u7f16\u7ec7\u7684\u300c\u751f\u547d\u5e7b\u5883\u300d\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u5e45\u4f5c\u54c1\u90fd\u662f\u4e00\u66f2\u65e0\u58f0\u7684\u751f\u547d\u9882\u6b4c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Life is my enduring theme; with my brush I make life blossom.&#8221; From the scattering of pine pollen to the growth of mountains, rivers and all living things, Kim Byung-Jong portrays the interconnectedness of all beings through vivid colors and lyrical forms.
